As you will see on next week’s schedule, there are a few tests coming up. We are almost done with chapter 7 in math.  The test will be given on Friday, January 22nd.  We will send home a review packet by Thursday. The best way to prepare for this test is by studying the multiplication facts.

 

The NWEA is scheduled for next week as well.  The students will take the ELA on Tuesday and the Math on Wednesday.  

The students took two Achieve assessments this week.  The grades will be in next week’s Friday folder. As mentioned in the letter sent home this week, these are now your child’s reading grades.

 

The next book report was sent home this week.  Please make sure your child chooses an appropriate book on his/her reading level. Use your child’s Lexile level to help you choose a suitable book.  The lexile level can be found on your child’s report card.

The science fair is scheduled for February 4th.  The packet with all the directions went home last week.  The students can either work alone or with someone from our class only.

 

Since next week is a short week, we are NOT assigning new spelling words.  However, don’t forget the next Current Event article is due next week!
